Sometimes when breeding snakes, we always want to get into a project that really intrigues and fascinates us, however, we cannot always afford to buy a visual animal or a pair of hets. So sometimes, we land up buying a het animal and try work the project in the long way by making our own "hets" so to speak. In this example, we are breeding a het candy (nC) to a normal to create the building blocks for our projects.
The resulted breeding provides us with:
2 x Normal (nn)
2 x het candy (nC)
Due to the fact that the normal and het candy offspring look similar, there is no way to visually differentiate between the het cand and the normal, the result is being we will call all the normal looking offspring 50% het candy. Basically, this means that the normal looking offspring have a 50% chance of proving to be a het for candy.
